Qualifications

• Tertiary accounting qualification with CA ANZ/CPA or equivalent.
• Capital and project accounting experience in complex organisations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to translate financial information.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and Excel skills.
• Willingness to lead one direct report or provide coaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide trusted financial accounting support across capital and project portfolio.
• Partner with project managers and stakeholders, offering financial advice throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review project expenditure, support asset capitalisation and deliver project reporting and analysis.
• Oversee fixed-asset activities including additions, disposals, transfers, depreciation, impairments.
• Support lease accounting, balance-sheet reconciliations, audits, budgeting and forecasting.
• Contribute to Finance Information Transformation activities such as data cleansing and system testing.
• Lead and support one Financial Accountant with coaching and clear priorities.
