Job summary

The Community Partner Contract Advisor within the Thriving Kids program will manage relationships with contracted community organisations delivering services across Victoria, ensuring providers meet requirements and performance expectations. The role may be located in Coburg or Bendigo, with travel between sites.

You will monitor performance, provide briefings, and collaborate with departmental teams to support implementation of a coordinated, local model of support for children and families.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract, performance, commissioning, grants management or a related field.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with community organisations and colleagues.
• Ability to identify risks, issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Organisational skills to manage competing priorities and document actions.

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day contractual relationships with commissioned community partner organisations.
• Monitor provider performance, reporting and compliance, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate contract and performance review, including actions and contract administration.
• Provide clear advice, briefings and reports on provider performance and emerging issues.
• Connect providers with relevant Department teams and stakeholders when additional support is needed.
• Contribute to contract establishment, variations and other commissioning activities as Thriving Kids expands.
