Job summary

Department of Education in Victoria seeks a Community Partner Contract Advisor to manage relationships with Thriving Kids partners and ensure providers meet requirements and performance standards.

You will monitor performance, coordinate reviews, provide advice to decision makers and support cross-team collaboration as the new service model scales across Victoria. Travel between Coburg and Bendigo locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract, performance, commissioning, grants management or a related field.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with community organisations and colleagues.
• Sound judgement to identify, assess and respond to risks and issues.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to analyse information and translate it into practical advice for decision makers.
• A collaborative approach to work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day contractual relationships with commissioned community partner organisations.
• Monitor provider performance, reporting and compliance, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate contract and performance reviews and follow up actions.
• Provide clear advice, briefings and reports on provider performance and emerging issues.
• Connect providers with relevant Department teams and stakeholders for support.
• Contribute to contract establishment, variations and other commissioning activities as Thriving Kids expands.
