Morson Edge Australia is seeking a Contract Manager to deliver a high-value $500M apartment development on the North Shore. You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, and Engineers to drive contract administration and ensure delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of construction experience.
• Proven leadership in contract management, budget oversight, and subcontractor negotiation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong commercial acumen.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Jobpac and Cheops.

Responsibilities

• Contract Management: Administer and oversee construction contracts in line with project goals and compliance requirements.
• Cost Control: Manage budgets, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to manage expectations, resolve disputes, and negotiate favourable terms.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed records including variations, progress claims, and contract correspondence.
• Tender Process: Assist with the preparation, issuing, and evaluation of tender documents.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the broader delivery team to ensure timely and efficient contract administration.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Contract Manager to deliver a $500M 150 BTS apartment development on the North Shore.

You’ll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with experienced Project Managers, Site Managers, and Engineers- contributing to the delivery of a major project while developing your career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Contract Management: Administer and oversee construction contracts in line with project goals and compliance requirements.
• Cost Control: Manage budgets, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to manage expectations, resolve disputes, and negotiate favourable terms.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong background on large-scale mid-tier commercial & residential projects up to $100M
• Proven leadership in contract management, budget oversight, and subcontractor negotiation
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in project management and construction management software Jobpac, Cheops
