Job summary

XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced DevOps / Platform Engineer for an initial contract in Sydney. You will own CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and support enterprise Linux/RHEL environments and application infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include building Jenkins pipelines, container orchestration with Podman/Docker, and implementing automation with Python and Bash. You will monitor systems using Elastic Stack and support Java Spring Boot services.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines across teams.
• Strong automation scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Hands-on expertise with Linux systems administration and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins.
• Manage container workloads with Podman/Docker.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments with deployment tools.
• Administer and troubleshoot RHEL servers and services.
• Develop automation scripts in Python and Bash.
• Support backend services built on Java Spring Boot.
