Job summary

XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd in Melbourne seeks a Senior Consultant for Cloud Automation to design, implement, and maintain automation across Kubernetes environments. You will deploy and support containerized apps, and lead CI/CD pipelines.

You will automate infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation, work with AWS/Azure/GCP, and apply DevSecOps practices to improve security, observability, and performance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker and container orchestration.
• Proficiency with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud automation solutions across Kubernetes environments.
• Deploy, configure, and support containerized apps using Kubernetes and ecosystem tools.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, deployment, and release.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools.
• Support platform reliability, scalability, security, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, and operations teams to streamline delivery.
