Job summary

Whizdom is seeking experienced Test Analysts for a data & analytics transformation. You will join a data and analytics team to assure quality across complex data, reporting and analytics environments, coordinating testing across platforms and delivery teams to ensure reliable, accurate solutions.

You will design and execute functional and end-to-end tests, support end-user testing, validate data/analytics outputs, and manage defects, collaborating with stakeholders and engineers to deliver

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering functional and end-to-end testing in complex technology environments.
• Strong understanding of data-centric solutions, analytics outputs and system integrations.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams with cross-workstream coordination.
• Solid defect management, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to translate requirements into effective test scenarios and cases.

Test Analyst – Data & Analytics

• Contract: 6 months + extensions


• Location: Parramatta or Melbourne CBD


• Mandatory Baseline clearance is required

We are partnering with a leading organisation to engage experienced Test Analysts for a major transformation program. These roles will suit quality-focused professionals with strong functional and end-to-end testing experience across complex data, reporting and analytics environments.

About the Role

You will work within a data and analytics team, helping assure the quality of complex system, data and business process changes. Collaborating across multiple platforms and delivery teams, you will support reliable, accurate solutions through structured testing, defect management and quality reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute and coordinate functional and end-to-end testing activities.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience delivering functional and end-to-end testing within complex technology environments.


• Strong understanding of data-centric solutions, analytics outputs and system integrations.


• Experience working in Agile delivery teams and coordinating testing across multiple workstreams.


• Strong defect management, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.


• The ability to analyse requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.


• A proactive approach to quality, risk management and continuous improvement.

Desirable Experience

• Experience testing analytics solutions supported by large data warehouse platforms such as Teradata, Oracle, Databricks or Snowflake.


• Exposure to reporting platforms, cloud-based solutions or large-scale government transformation programs.


• Experience with superannuation or financial systems.


• Practical SQL and back-end testing capability.
