Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Contract Administrator in Australian construction.
• Experience on Class 2 residential developments, luxury or boutique apartments.
• Background with established head contractor or high-end residential builder in Australia.
• Strong commercial understanding across subcontractor procurement, progress claims, variations, cost forecasting and contract administration.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with ability to manage competing priorities and maintain financial control.
• Confident communicator who builds relationships with subcontractors, consultants and project team.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with accountability and ownership.

With a new circa $20m luxury residential development in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, the business is looking to appoint an experienced Contract Administrator to join its construction team.

Working closely with the Project Manager and wider construction team, you will take ownership of subcontractor procurement, contract administration, variations, cost reporting and commercial performance throughout the project.

The role offers genuine responsibility, exposure to high-quality residential construction and the opportunity to work within a close-knit team where your contribution will be recognised.

About You

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Contract Administrator within the Australian construction industry.
• Proven experience working on Class 2 residential developments, ideally within the luxury or boutique apartment sector.
• Background working with an established head contractor or high-end residential builder in Australia.
• Strong commercial understanding across subcontractor procurement, progress claims, variations, cost forecasting and contract administration.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain strong financial control.
• A confident communicator who builds positive relationships with subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with sound judgement, genuine accountability and a willingness to take ownership.
