Job summary

Built Australia is seeking a Contract Administrator to lead contract administration across the full project lifecycle, including procurement, documentation, and cost control. You will work with project teams to ensure compliance, timely reporting, and effective contract management on complex builds.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, experience in contract administration, and a collaborative approach to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes on large projects in Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract administration practices and solid experience in a similar role.
• Exposure to managing contracts within large project environments.
• Strong level of commercial acumen with a commitment to safety, teamwork and building strong relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup of the project including Head Contract Admin Guide, prepare and monitor procurement program and prepare trade package tender documentation
• Preparation of Subcontractor agreement including standard and special conditions and resources to specific trades
• Manage project registers and schedules along with other project administration tasks and document control measures
• Responsibility for project completion documentation and assist in compiling ‘as-built’ documentation and Operation and Maintenance manuals
• Preparation of cost control procedures and assist with monthly cost reports and forecasting of preliminaries and trade costs
