Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment in Melbourne is seeking a Contract Administrator to join a growing Tier 3 commercial builder.

You will work closely with the Project Manager across procurement, subcontract documentation, variation management and financial reporting on projects up to about $30M.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years' experience in commercial construction, strong subcontractor management and a clear progression pathway within a growing business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in commercial construction.
• Experience with Tier 2/3 or reputable builders.
• Strong subcontractor management and procurement skills.
• Solid understanding of contracts, variations, claims, and EOTs.
• Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor procurement and letting packages.
• Prepare scopes of works and subcontract documentation.
• Review subcontractor claims and progress claims.
• Manage variations, EOTs and contractual correspondence.
• Track costs and forecast budgets.
• Maintain project budgets and financial reporting.
• Support project programming and procurement.
• Collaborate with PMs and site team to align requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
• Support from procurement through to final account.
