Jobgether, acting on behalf of a partner, is seeking a Content Manager based in Australia to own content strategy, editorial quality, and measurable results for a software product business.

You'll guide a small team of writers, balance AI-assisted creation with hands-on editing, and optimize content for traditional search engines and AI-powered platforms, driving visibility and business impact.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience creating, writing, and editing high-quality content with strong editorial judgment.
• Experience leading a small team of writers and coaching them to improved outputs.
• Quality-first mindset focused on content value and business impact.
• Proven ownership of content performance and ability to explain results.
• Hands-on SEO and optimization for AI-driven search, including GEO and AEO strategies.
• Strong knowledge of AI writing and editing tools and when to rely on human judgment.
• Experience creating content for software, SaaS, or other technical products with clear explanations.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with clear priorities.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the content direction, setting editorial priorities and high-value topics.
• Edit and improve new and existing content for clarity, accuracy, and relevance.
• Use AI tools to support research, drafting, and editing while maintaining quality.
• Lead and develop a small team of writers with constructive feedback.
• Own content performance, track results, and guide improvements with data.
• Improve content visibility through SEO and AI-powered search optimization strategies.
• Experiment with new topics, formats, and approaches and scale successful initiatives.
• Collaborate with leadership, developers, and product teams to translate technical knowledge into engaging content.
