Job summary

Veolia ANZ is seeking a Waste Contamination Officer to join our team in Arndell Park (NSW). The role requires conducting early morning walking inspections of waste streams and managing contamination reporting to meet Georges River Council KPIs.

You will develop waste compliance projects and implement WasteTrack processes while engaging with residents and stakeholders. Successful candidates will operate under Veolia’s AlwaysSafe culture, complete pre-employment medical checks, and may be required

Qualifications

• Valid C Class driver’s licence required.
• Excellent computer literacy and communication skills.
• Experience in community engagement and dealing with public behaviour and change.

Responsibilities

• Conduct early morning (4:00 AM start) walking inspections of waste streams such as organics and recycling bins and MUD buildings within the Georges River Council area.
• Develop and manage waste compliance projects, ensuring professional delivery for Veolia's clients.
• Implement WasteTrack system processes across residential contracts to meet council KPIs.
• Manage contamination reporting and monitoring, including resident communications and site visits.
• Collaborate with council, residents, and stakeholders on waste compliance.

The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is seeking a Waste Contamination Officer to join our team in Arndell Park - 2148. This role requires a dedicated Contamination Management Officer who will be continuously available to conduct walking inspections in accordance with Schedule 15 of the Georges River Contract.

What you'll be responsible for
