Job summary

Veolia ANZ is seeking a Waste Contamination Officer to join our team in Arndell Park. The role involves early morning walking inspections of waste streams, managing contamination reporting and resident communications, and developing waste compliance projects for council KPIs.

You will work with councils and residents, support Veolia’s environmental objectives, and participate in a comprehensive training and development program in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with waste management and contamination control.
• Ability to engage with councils and residents on waste compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct early morning walking inspections of waste streams in the council area.
• Develop and manage waste compliance projects for Veolia's clients.
• Implement processes to meet council KPIs and manage contamination reporting.
• Coordinate resident communications and site visits; liaise with stakeholders.
