Job summary

Eastcoast Beverages’ Bambinos cafe is seeking an enthusiastic manager to lead daily operations, including barista services, food handling, stock control, and customer service. The role offers growth from startup to potential ownership and requires strong process development capabilities.

You will oversee budgeting, staffing, menu planning, and vendor coordination while ensuring strict health, safety, and hygiene standards across all cafe areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in cafe management with focus on processes and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
• Able to work Wednesday– Sunday and flexible for shifts.
• Excellent hygiene standards and safety practices.
• Experience in stock management, ordering and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cafe operations, including stock, deliveries, and budgeting.
• Manage staffing, training, and scheduling for smooth service.
• Plan menus and monitor revenue, expenses, and profit margins.
• Coordinate events and liaise with on-site maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and cleanliness standards.
• Organize maintenance and repairs with the maintenance manager.
• Maintain cafe areas and grounds, keeping them clean and tidy.
• Provide high-quality customer service and mentor front-line staff.

Eastcoast Beverages’ recently launched sister brand Bambinos is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic persons to join our team at on premise cafe. The role is primarily customer focused - either serving customers our range of hot and cold drinks, food or deserts and assisting in general cafe duties, including cleaning and organising stock orders.

Key requirements:

Competence and understanding in Barista operations, and food service.

Excellent hygiene and safety standards

Be available to work Wednesday– Sunday.

Flexibility to perform different tasks and ability to multitask

Management of day to day operations of the cafe including but not limited to processes and procedures, managing stock and deliveries, staffing, menu planning, maintaining inventory, monitoring daily expenses and revenue,improving profit margins, monitoring budgets and working with suppliers and vendors

Organise and manage maintenance and repairs with onsite maintenance manager

Work with the team to manage events coming through the cafe

Must be across regulations in the food health and safety area, and manage any new requirements as they come through.

Ensure all cafe areas and cafe grounds are clean and tidy

Ability to work independently when required

A willingness to learn from others

Experience in cafe management particularly around developing processes and procedures, stock management, ordering, square systems etc
