Arc Medical is seeking an experienced Consultant Paediatrician specializing in Behavioural and Developmental care. The role offers hybrid working, private practice setup, and flexible weekdays with an initial commitment of at least one in-clinic day every two weeks, with potential to expand toward full-time.

Qualifications

• Consultant Paediatrician with Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
• Available for MIN 1 in-clinic day per fortnight.
• Experience or interest in ADHD, ASD, behavioural and developmental paediatrics.
• Confident assessing, diagnosing and managing a broad range of developmental, behavioural and neurodevelopmental presentations.
• Confident with treatment and medication management.
• Comfortable providing ongoing care beyond initial assessment, including monitoring health, growth and development.
• Commitment to collaborative, neuroaffirming and family-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing management for behavioural and developmental paediatric presentations.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver neuroaffirming, family-centred care.

Consultant Paediatrician – Behavioural and Developmental

My client is a highly regarded private practice in a prestigious location with an international reach. With strong indemnity cover, comprehensive digital and telehealth infrastructure and a dedicated administration team, we are seeking an experienced Behavioural and Developmental Paediatrician to join a collaborative multidisciplinary team delivering personalised, holistic care to children and families.

This expert-led service provides comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of behavioural & developmental presentations.

Working alongside experienced medical and allied health professionals, you will provide neuroaffirming, family-focused care extending well beyond diagnosis. This includes medication management, monitoring general health, growth and development, therapy recommendations, educational and behavioural support, disability and NDIS guidance, and practical strategies to support children and their families.

This role will see you working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including Child Psychiatrists, GPs, Psychologists, Dietitians, Mental Health Nurses and other experienced health professionals, with excellent clinical, administrative and digital support.
