We are seeking a Psychologist to join our collaborative team, working with children, tweens, adolescents, and families across therapy, assessment and parent support services.

This role combines intervention, assessment and consultation with opportunities to work collaboratively with young people, families, schools and healthcare professionals.

ABOUT US

Since 2007, Treat Yourself Well Sydney has supported the mental health and wellbeing of people across Sydney’s Inner West. We are an established multidisciplinary psychology practice providing assessment and therapy across the lifespan, from children and adolescents through to adults, families and carers.

Our psychologists and dietitians work collaboratively, with particular expertise in:

  • Eating disorders, ARFID and body image concerns, including weight-neutral and non-diet approaches
  • Neuroaffirming support for Autistic and ADHDer people and their families
  • Trauma and complex mental health presentations
  • Psychological assessments
  • Family-inclusive and relationship-focused care
  • Affirming support for LGBTQIA+ people, families and communities

We also support people experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, perfectionism, emotional regulation difficulties, school and learning challenges, relationship concerns, identity development, belonging and life transitions.

Our practice is trauma-informed, neuroaffirming, gender-affirming and inclusive. We value lived experience and strive to provide affirming care that recognises the intersecting influences of culture, race, gender, sexuality, neurotype, ability and health.

We value collaboration, creativity, and systemic thinking, and welcome clinicians who bring curiosity, clinical rigour and genuine humanity to their work.

COULD WE BE THE TEAM YOU’RE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for psychologists who are committed to providing thoughtful, person-centred care and who value ongoing learning, reflection and connection.

At Treat Yourself Well, we are drawn to clinicians who are curious about people, reflective in their practice and able to balance clinical rigour with warmth and humanity. We value thoughtful formulation, authentic therapeutic relationships and evidence-informed approaches that are responsive to each person's unique experiences, strengths and goals.

You enjoy working collaboratively, welcome feedback and consultation, and recognise that the best outcomes are often achieved through strong relationships with clients, families, referrers and other professionals. You are committed to inclusive, neuroaffirming and trauma-informed practice and are interested in supporting people within the broader context of their lives, relationships and communities.

Most importantly, you're looking for meaningful work, professional growth and a team that genuinely cares about the people we support and one another.

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO

At Treat Yourself Well, we take the time to understand each person within the context of their relationships, identity, neurotype, culture, strengths and experiences.

We’ve built a practice where clinicians can engage thoughtfully with complexity, continue developing their professional interests and feel supported by colleagues who value curiosity, collaboration and genuine connection.

If you’re looking for a team where you can do meaningful work, keep learning and bring your own strengths and perspective to the way you practise, I’d be very pleased to hear from you.

WHY JOIN TREAT YOURSELF WELL?
  • A supportive, collaborative multidisciplinary team committed to neuroaffirming practice
  • A genuinely supportive team culture that values connection, learning, collaboration and professional growth
  • A flexible and fulfilling caseload shaped around your strengths, clinical interests and areas for professional growth

  • Opportunities to contribute to assessments, groups, resources, education and service development
  • Opportunities to deepen your specialist interests, develop a clinical niche and progress into senior, supervisory or leadership responsibilities
