Job summary

SkillCentred Queensland is offering full-time traineeships in the construction industry. Participants will gain hands-on experience through community-based projects and earn a Certificate I in Construction, including a White Card.

The program operates on a 9-day fortnight schedule and lasts 20 weeks, with wages under the National Training Wage Award. To apply you must be 15 or older, provide your date of birth and address, and be no longer enrolled at school.

Job description

SkillCentred has a number of traineeship positions available forindividuals wanting to gain experience in the construction industry.

Full-time traineeship

9 day fortnight

20weeks

Pay rates arein accordance with the National Training Wage Award and is calculated on your highest school level completed and the number of years you've been out of school.

Each trainee will be involved in community-based construction projects and will have the opportunity to gaina Certificate I in Construction qualification including white card.This qualification is a pathway to an apprenticeship in carpentry and associated trades.
