Job summary

Eight Homes seeks an experienced construction supervisor to oversee residential projects in the North region. You will forecast monthly build budgets and schedules, coordinating with clients and trades to keep programs on track and issues to a minimum.

The role requires a safety-first mindset, knowledge of building standards, and the ability to manage documentation, invoices, and supplier payments on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising sites within residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of building standards, tolerances, BSA's, OHS regulations and QA systems.
• Trade qualification such as carpentry is an advantage, but not required.
• Safety-first mindset and customer/service focus.

Responsibilities

• Forecast monthly build budget and schedule including claims and settlements.
• Provide weekly updates on the job portfolio with Client Manager.
• Identify and resolve site issues with Construction Manager.
• Review plans with trades before work starts.
• Ensure OH&S compliance and manage extra to orders (ETOs).
• Raise purchase orders before works commence and process supplier invoices.
• Liaise with clients and maintain timely records.

Eight Homes is looking for an experienced construction supervisor to join our North construction region.

Within this role your responsibilities would include:

• Forecast monthly build budget and schedule including claims and settlements.
• Work with Client Manager to provide weekly update on job portfolio.
• Liaise with Construction Manager to identify and resolve site issues and identify/suggest opportunities for improvement.
• Review plans and documentation with trades prior to work commencement.
• Ensuring compliance with OH&S legislation.
• Manage and reduce Extra to Orders (ETOs).
• Ensure Purchase Orders (POs) are raised prior to commencement of works.
• Ensure invoices are processed for trade and supplier payment
• Liaising with clients, delivering exceptional service.
• Maintaining accurate, up to date, and timely records

Who are we looking for?

• Trade qualification such as carpentry is an advantage, but not required.
• Strong customer / client service focus.

• Valid Victorian Driver's License
• Construction Induction Card
• Current First Aid qualification including CPR
• Police Check
