Job summary

Eight Homes is seeking an experienced construction supervisor to join our North construction region. You will oversee site operations, coordinate trades, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on residential builds.

The role requires a safety-first mindset, with proven site supervision experience in residential construction, knowledge of building standards, and a customer-focused approach to client service.

Qualifications

• Experience in Site Supervising within residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of building Standards & Tolerances, BSA's, OHS regulations, and QA systems.
• Trade qualification such as carpentry is an advantage, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Forecast monthly build budget and schedule including claims and settlements.
• Work with Client Manager to provide weekly update on job portfolio.
• Liaise with Construction Manager to identify and resolve site issues and identify/suggest opportunities for improvement.
• Review plans and documentation with trades prior to work commencement.
• Ensuring compliance with OH&S legislation.
• Manage and reduce Extra to Orders (ETOs).
• Ensure Purchase Orders (POs) are raised prior to commencement of works.
• Ensure invoices are processed for trade and supplier payment
• Liaising with clients, delivering exceptional service.
• Maintaining accurate, up to date, and timely records
