Job summary

Sienna Homes in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee delivery of townhouse projects from site to client handover. You will manage on-site activity, coordinate subcontractors and labour, and lead safety on site while maintaining strong teamwork and communication with clients.

Reporting to the Area Construction Manager, you will prioritise deadlines, interpret plans and specs, and contribute to sustainable, high-quality workmanship as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering small to medium construction projects.
• Townhouse construction experience is preferable.
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications.
• Strong prioritisation and deadline management.
• Negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to grow skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage site activity in accordance with the construction program.
• Manage subcontractors and site labour activity on a day-to-day basis.
• Take the lead role in on-site safety, including monitoring and correcting non-compliant activities or behaviour.
• Ensure a high level of on-site communication and teamwork through regular on-site meetings.
• Helping subcontractors meet their obligations of delivering high quality workmanship.
• Perform inspections for quality to ensure the quality of workmanship is maintained.
• Assist in bringing in new trades to fill the growing workload of the business.

The Opportunity
