Job summary

Alinta Energy is recruiting a Construction Supervisor to support the Reeves Plains Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project. You will act as the on-site representation, overseeing construction activities and coordinating with contractors and stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery.

You will monitor safety, quality and progress, maintain site records, and report to the Construction Manager while developing capabilities in project assurance and construction management

Qualifications

• Experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar site-based role.
• Experience delivering across infrastructure, energy, utilities, mining, industrial or major civil projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing contractors and maintaining strong field presence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and contractor performance.
• Monitor works to ensure safety, quality and project compliance.
• Promote a strong safety culture and proactively manage construction risks.
• Maintain field presence, provide construction assurance and site oversight.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers and stakeholders to support delivery.
• Maintain site records, monitor progress and provide regular reporting to the Construction Manager.

About The Role

We're recruiting a Construction Supervisor to support the delivery of the Reeves Plains Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project, a key project within Alinta Energy's growing renewable energy portfolio.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you'll act as Alinta Energy's primary on-site representative, maintaining a strong field presence and providing day-to-day oversight of construction activities. You'll work closely with contractors and project stakeholders to support safe, compliant and high-quality project delivery while developing your capability across project assurance, reporting and construction management.

What You'll Do

• Maintain a consistent field presence, providing construction assurance and site-based oversight across the project.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers and key stakeholders to support project delivery.
• Maintain site records, monitor progress and provide regular reporting to the Construction Manager.

Your Experience

• Experience as a Construction Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Construction Coordinator or similar site-based construction role.
• Experience delivering construction activities across infrastructure, energy, utilities, mining, industrial or major civil projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing contractors and maintaining a strong field presence throughout project execution.
• Understanding of construction quality requirements, inspections, testing, compliance and assurance processes.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and safety leadership skills.
• A proactive approach, willingness to learn and desire to develop within a project delivery environment.
