Job summary

GenusPlus Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support the Reeves Plains Energy Hub – a 250 MW Battery Energy Storage System project located about 50 km north of Adelaide. The role focuses on leading electrical works, coordinating with project and engineering teams, and upholding safety and quality in a fast-paced, high‑voltage environment.

You will mentor trades personnel and subcontractors, manage daily site operations, and ensure accurate site reporting and compliant work

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in the electrical industry.
• Experience with ACONEX or similar construction project management software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant electrical trade qualifications and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead all electrical works across critical project infrastructure.
• Oversee on-site operations and act as the key link between project and engineering teams.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards are enforced.
• Prepare accurate daily site reports.
• Develop electrical work packs from IFC drawings.
• Complete Material Take Offs from IFC drawings for crews and subcontractors.

About The Opportunity

Genus is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team and support delivery of the Reeves Plains Energy Hub – 250 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project, located approximately 50 km north of Adelaide.

We are delivering the design, supply, construction, and commissioning of this landmark renewable energy asset. This greenfield project requires strong leadership, technical oversight, and an unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and compliance in a high‑voltage, fast‑paced construction environment.

Your Role & Responsibilities

As the Senior Electrical Supervisor, you will lead all electrical works across critical project infrastructure, including:

• Team leadership - mentoring and managing trades personnel and subcontractors
• Daily coordination - overseeing on‑site operations and acting as the key link between project and engineering teams
• Safety & quality enforcement - ensuring strict compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Site reporting - preparing accurate daily site reports
• Work pack creation - developing electrical work packs from IFC drawings
• Material Take Offs - completing MTOs from IFC drawings for crews and subcontractors
