Job summary

Brightstar Resources is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for a new gold processing facility project near Laverton, WA. You will lead on-site construction activities, coordinate with the EPC contractor and subcontractors, and drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence across civil, mechanical, piping, and electrical works.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated supervision of construction on mining or heavy industrial projects.
• Experience delivering EPC projects on schedule.
• Trade qualification in a relevant construction discipline.
• Ability to obtain Senior Site Executive qualification.
• Proven capability to manage multiple contractors on remote sites.

We are in the early stages of developing a new gold processingfacility and associated infrastructure at our site near Laverton,WA. We are seeking an experienced ConstructionSuperintendent to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of this exciting project.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the constructionof a new gold processing facility, working closely with the EPCcontractor and project team to ensure safe, efficient, andhigh-quality construction outcomes.

About the Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager, the ConstructionSuperintendent will be responsible for overseeing site constructionactivities and ensuring works are executed safely, efficiently, andin accordance with project requirements.

The role will provide oversight of the EPC contractor and manageBrightstar Resources' subcontractors across site, ensuringalignment with project schedules, safety standards, and qualityexpectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight of the EPC contractor'sconstruction activities.
• Manage and coordinate Brightstar Resources' subcontractorson site.
• Monitor progress against project schedules and supportachievement of key milestones.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across allsite activities.
• Ensure construction works are completed in accordance withproject specifications and quality requirements.
• Coordinate activities across civil, structural, mechanical,piping and electrical disciplines.
• Identify and manage construction risks, constraints, andopportunities for improvement.
• Facilitate effective communication between contractors,project personnel, engineering, and commissioning teams.
• Support mechanical completion, handover and commissioningreadiness activities.
• Ensure compliance with site procedures, statutoryrequirements and project standards.

About You

• Demonstrated construction supervision experience on mining,mineral processing, infrastructure or heavy industrialprojects.
• Strong project delivery experience, ideally within an EPCproject environment.
• Trade-qualified background.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Senior Site Executive(SSE) qualification.
• Proven experience managing contractors and multiple workfronts within a construction environment.
• Strong understanding of safety management and constructionbest practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholdermanagement skills.
• Experience working on remote mining or resources projectsis highly regarded.
