Job summary

Brightstar Resources, an ASX-listed gold company, seeks an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site construction for a new gold processing facility near Laverton, WA. You will supervise EPC contractor activities, coordinate multiple subcontractors, and uphold safety, quality, and schedule alignment with the project plan.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with site procedures.

Qualifications

Demonstrated construction supervision experience on mining or heavy industrial projects.
Trade qualification and SSE eligibility.
Experience managing EPC contractor teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day oversight of the EPC contractor's construction activities.
Manage and coordinate Brightstar Resources' subcontractors on site.
Monitor progress against project schedules and support achievement of key milestones.
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all site activities.
Ensure construction works are completed in accordance with project specifications and quality requirements.
Coordinate activities across civil, structural, mechanical, piping and electrical disciplines.
Identify and manage construction risks, constraints, and opportunities for improvement.
Facilitate effective communication between contractors, project personnel, engineering, and commissioning teams.
Support mechanical completion, handover and commissioning readiness activities.
Ensure compliance with site procedures, statutory requirements and project standards.
