Job summary

The Australian Reinforcing Company (ARC) in Newcastle is seeking a Scheduler to support the reinforcement steel supply across multiple construction projects. You will interpret drawings, coordinate production requirements and ensure on-time delivery while managing competing priorities and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Core hours are 8:30am-4:00pm with some flexibility; full-time permanent role based in Newcastle.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting structural drawings and coordinating production schedules.
• Ability to manage competing project deadlines with attention to detail.
• Confident communication across customers, production, sales and operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer requirements with Sales, Production and Operations to schedule reinforcing steel orders accurately and on time.
• Interpret structural drawings and generate bar cutting and bending lists.
• Manage customer enquiries, updates, drawings, lead times and production schedules.
• Balance multiple projects and delivery deadlines while keeping customers and internal teams aligned.
• Maintain a strong focus on WHS and compliance across scheduling activities.
