Steela is seeking a Sales Business Development Manager with construction sector focus to drive growth across residential and commercial markets. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with builders, developers, architects, and contractors, and manage end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting to contract closure.

This is a remote/field-based role in Australia offering strong earning potential through a base salary of 100,000 AUD plus super, plus uncapped commissions and an attractive

Qualifications

• Proven experience in BD, account mgmt, or technical sales.
• Experience selling construction products and related solutions.
• Strong network within the Australian construction industry.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the construction sector.
• Develop relationships with builders, developers, architects, contractors, and project managers.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and closure.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
• Maintain and grow existing customer relationships.
• Track opportunities and sales activities through CRM systems.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
