Job summary

Built is seeking a Project Engineer in Australia to coordinate technical delivery, ensuring safety, quality and on-time performance. You’ll work with Project Managers, consultants and subcontractors to bridge design and construction, resolving challenges and maintaining constructability.

You’ll manage RFIs, shop drawings and ITPs, support procurement, and monitor quality and safety while mentoring junior engineers and graduates to strengthen the project team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 3+ years delivering commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate RFIs, shop drawings, ITPs, and engineering documentation.
• Drive collaboration between consultants, subcontractors and site teams.
• Support procurement activities and ensure timely materials/subcontractor delivery.
• Monitor quality, safety, and risk through inspections and reporting.
• Mentor Site Engineers, Graduates and Cadets; contribute to team culture.
