Job summary

From Design to Construct in Western Australia is seeking an experienced construction professional to join our team. You will coordinate site activities, manage resources, procurement, subcontractors, and document control to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.

This hands-on role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction, 10+ years in construction, and 2–5 years supervising or leading projects in a Design & Construct environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar.
• 10+ years’ construction/project experience.
• 2–5 years’ supervision and/or project management experience.
• Experience in a Design & Construct environment.
• Commercial and/or Industrial project experience preferred.
• Strong construction methodology, technical and commercial knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management and successful delivery of construction projects.
• Monitor budgets, costs and project expenditure.
• Manage procurement of materials, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate project programs, resources and site activities.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
• Provide technical and design input from tender through to construction.
• Resolve design, technical and construction issues.
• Direct staff and contractors on technical and program requirements.
• Liaise directly with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and profitability.
