Job summary

SHAPE Australia is seeking a Project Coordinator to support safe, profitable and timely delivery of WA projects. You will work with experienced Project and Site Managers to coordinate activity, documentation and site delivery across commercial, education, health, aged care, defence and transport sectors.

You’ll bring a building-related degree or diploma, knowledge of building practices, and comfort interpreting specifications and drawings.

Qualifications

• Building-related degree or diploma or current study/background
• Understanding of contemporary building practices
• Basic knowledge of head contracts and subcontracts
• Ability to interpret specifications and drawings for accuracy and buildability
• Proficiency with MS Office; JOBPAC and Procore are valued
• Respectful, open and accountable with clients/subcontractors/colleagues
• Safety-first mindset and commitment to continuous learning

Responsibilities

• Support Site Managers with site safety signage, inductions, observations, defect management and reporting
• Coordinate subcontractors, including work sequencing and quality monitoring
• Assist with subcontractor and supplier invoices, cost reports and cash flow forecasts
• Support project programming, variations and subcontract administration
• Manage RFIs, meeting minutes, drawing registers and project documentation
• Maintain project records across payment claims, risk, contract, quality and defects close-out
