Job summary

ATCO Structures & Logistics Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a production team in Luscombe, QLD. You will oversee daily factory operations, plan production, manage staffing and materials, and drive a strong safety and quality culture.

You will apply lean principles to reduce waste, improve efficiency and coach a diverse workforce toward high performance in a well-established manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising manufacturing teams in a high-volume environment.
• Proven ability to drive safety, quality and performance improvements.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations and supervise employees and subcontractors.
• Manage production schedules, workforce, and material availability to hit targets.
• Foster a safe, clean and efficient workplace with strong housekeeping.
• Resolve delays, quality issues and operational challenges proactively.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and delivery timelines.

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our production team in Luscombe, QLD.

Reporting to the National Manufacturing Manager, you will oversee daily factory operations, lead a diverse workforce and ensure modular buildings are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Do

Lead and coordinate daily manufacturing operations, supervising employees and subcontractors.

Oversee production schedules, workforce allocation and material availability to ensure manufacturing targets are achieved.

Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring safe work practices, quality standards and housekeeping expectations are consistently maintained.

Monitor production performance, proactively resolving delays, quality issues and operational challenges.

Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring accountability for productivity, workmanship and delivery timelines.

Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste and increase production efficiency.

Build a positive and productive team culture through effective leadership, coaching and performance management.

Collaborate with Safety, Stores, Procurement and Manufacturing Administration teams to maintain efficient factory operations.

What You'll Bring

Proven supervisory experience within a manufacturing, production or assembly-line environment.

Strong people leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage performance and drive cultural change.

Experience applying lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety, quality and operational excellence.

Strong production planning, problem-solving and organisational skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities, resolve operational issues and maintain production deadlines.

Sound computer literacy and experience working with production schedules and manufacturing systems.

A proactive, accountable leadership style with a genuine commitment to teamwork and achieving results.

Experience within modular construction, automotive manufacturing or high-volume assembly-line production will be highly regarded. A Certificate IV in Leadership and Management, Building Supervisor Licence or experience operating large forklifts would also be advantageous.
