Job summary

Buildcorp's Remedial & Facade business is one of Australia’s leading remedial builders. As Construction Manager you will lead the delivery of our project portfolio — safe, high quality and profitable outcomes from conversion through construction to handover.

Reporting to the Construction Director, you will lead Project Managers, Site Managers and engineers, balance rigour with commercial discipline, and maintain momentum across multiple live sites.

Qualifications

• Significant construction delivery experience (typically 15+ years).
• Proven track record at Construction Manager, Project Director or Senior Project Manager level with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 builder or remedial contractor.
• Experience in remedial, facade, restoration, structural repair or complex refurbishment in live environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring safety compliance across every project per Health, Safety and Environment policies, particularly high-risk activities.
• Guiding the tender process: reviewing methodologies to win work and participating in client meetings and business development.
• Overseeing financial management: budget adherence, forecasting and management of variations to protect margin.
• Overseeing planning and programming on every project with comprehensive construction schedules and regular audits.
• Leading and mentoring Project Managers and teams with performance feedback and swift action on issues.
• Representing the business with clients, strata committees and engineers, marketing capability through projects.

Education

Tertiary qualification in construction management, engineering or related discipline
