Job summary

Bouygues Construction Australia is seeking a Site Engineer to provide on-site engineering services to support the Project or Site Manager on civil infrastructure projects in Australia.

You will coordinate technical activities, prepare schedules, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety on site. The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience and a strong focus on delivery and communication.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• 3–5 years of site engineering experience.
• Coordination and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a project section or part of a section and coordinate with Project/Site Manager.
• Define objectives on technical, financial and human issues.
• Prepare detailed construction schedules and technical options.
• Coordinate suppliers and subcontractors and manage site reporting.
• Monitor progress schedules and adjust as needed in line with senior guidance.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and supervise on-site staff and equipment.
• Engage with the client on schedule, quality and contractual matters.
