Job summary

The Department of Justice is seeking a Maintenance Instructor at Wundowie, WA. You will carry out routine and emergency maintenance of prison buildings, facilities equipment and grounds, ensuring productive work programs for prisoners involved in the maintenance industry.

Joining a safety-focused team, you will train prisoners, manage induction, and provide accurate information prior to release, supporting efficient facility operations across the site.

Qualifications

• Has a valid manual class C driving licence.
• Holds a Certificate III in Maintenance or a relevant trade.
• Current Provide First Aid accreditation HLTAID003 with at least 12 months validity remaining.

Job description

The Maintenance Instructor will undertake all routine and emergency maintenance of the prisons buildings, facilities equipment and general grounds work, and are responsible for the provision of productive work for prisoners in all facets of the maintenance industry at the prison.

What you need
