Job summary

Bishop Workforce Pty Ltd is seeking concreters for immediate work in Canberra. The role covers concrete pours, screeding, levelling and finishing, with formwork setup and steel reinforcement as needed.

Candidates should be physically capable and comfortable working outdoors, following project plans and supervisor directions. We offer competitive hourly rates, consistent ongoing work, potential overtime, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum concreting experience required.
• Strong knowledge of concrete placement and finishing techniques.
• Ability to work physically outdoors.
• Reliable, punctual and a team player.
• White Card.
• Asbestos Awareness.
• Silica Exposure Awareness.
• Current driver license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Concrete pours, screeding, levelling and finishing.
• Formwork preparation and setup.
• Steel fixing and reinforcement work where required.
• Operating hand and power tools.
• Preparing worksites before concrete placement.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous concreting experience
• Strong knowledge of concrete placement and finishing techniques
• Ability to work physically and outdoors
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• White Card
• Asbestos Awareness
• Silica Exposure Awareness
• Current driver licence and reliable transport preferred
• Relevant tickets or licences will be highly regarded
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
