Job summary

Mossop Construction + Interiors is seeking an experienced HR Manager to own the HR function, providing strategic direction and ensuring day-to-day people operations run smoothly. You will lead the HR team, collaborate with senior management, and ensure people practices support business objectives and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Seven years HR experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations.
• Experience developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead and mentor the HR team, partnering with senior management.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, retention and workforce planning.
• Manage employee relations, industrial relations and complex HR matters.
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, systems and employment contracts.
• Oversee remuneration structures and employee benefits.
• Manage workplace injuries, return-to-work processes and wellbeing.
• Drive employee engagement and inclusion initiatives.
