Job summary

Endeavour Homes WA in Western Australia seeks a Construction Estimator to manage all costings for sales and administration teams. This full-time role (38 hours per week) is based in Osborne Park, WA.

You will take offs from sketches, liaise with suppliers, review drawings and handle provisional sums and variations to ensure accurate project costs and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma level qualification plus 1 year of relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience if no formal qualification is obtained.

Responsibilities

• Take offs from sketch plans to ensure accurate costings.
• Report margin checks at Deal Acceptance and Contracts.
• Complete siteworks estimates for Contract documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Review engineering details, working drawings and addenda to ensure all details and costs are accounted for.
• Cost variations at Contracts requested from Client Liaison.
• Prepare prestart costings for client approval.
• Price cost revisions as requested by Administration.
• Adjust Variations due to statutory or other compliance requirements.
• Complete or adjust Provisional sums as stated in the Building Contract.

We are looking for a Construction Estimator to join the team! In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate management of all costings by servicing both the sales & Administration teams. This is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week, and based in our Osborne Park WA office.

Main tasks

• Take offs from sketch plans to ensure accurate costings
• Report margin checks at Deal Acceptance and Contracts
• Complete siteworks estimates for Contract documentation
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
• Review engineering details, working drawings and addenda to ensure all details and costs accounted for.
• Cost variations at Contracts are requested from the Client Liaison
• Preparation of prestart costings for the client approval
• Price cost revisions as requested by the Administration department
• Adjust Variations due to statutory or other compliance requirements as required
• Complete and/or adjust Provisional sums as stated in the Building Contract

Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience

• A relevant Diploma level qualification plus 1 year of relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience when no formal qualification was obtained.

Annual salary will be between $75,000.00 to $80,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience.
