You will drive new business growth and serve as the front face of the business across the local market.

The role requires 5+ years in construction estimating and sales, with a proven track record of accurate pricing and strong client communication.

Our client is seeking an experienced **Sales & Estimator** to join their growing team based in **Marleston, SA**.

This is a core company leadership role responsible for client consultation, site quoting, accurate project estimating, and new business growth. You will be the front face of the business across residential and commercial renovations, extensions, and home lift projects.

Our client is specifically looking for a stable, detail-oriented and experienced estimator who can produce profitable, accurate, no-under-quote pricing while building long-term client trust.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate, nurture and convert new sales leads within the residential building and renovation markets
• Conduct professional site consultations, measure projects, and clarify client scope and expectations
• Prepare highly detailed, accurate and profitable project quotations for renovations, extensions and home lift installations
• Maintain strict pricing discipline, eliminate under-quoting and protect company profit margins
• Manage the full client sales journey from enquiry, quoting and follow-up through to negotiation and handover to the Project Management team
• Maintain organised client records, quote tracking and CRM updates
• Collaborate with internal Project Managers to ensure quoted scope accurately matches on-site delivery
• Identify genuine upsell opportunities while maintaining transparent client communication
• Monitor local Adelaide market pricing, competitor trends and industry standards
• Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales conversion targets
• Represent the business professionally at all client and industry interactions

• Proven track record of accurate, profitable quoting - this is a critical requirement
• Deep understanding of residential renovation labour, material costs and site variables
• Confident and professional client communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations firmly and politely
• Strong attention to detail and zero tolerance for careless under-quoting
• Ability to work independently, self-manage leads and prioritise workload effectively
• Proficiency with estimating tools, Microsoft Office and basic CRM systems
• Valid Australian driver's licence and own reliable vehicle for site visits
• Stable work history, reliable attitude and genuine long-term mindset
