Job summary

We are seeking motivated Park Rangers to join Canberra's conservation estate within the ACT Public Service. The role combines practical land management, environmental conservation, and community stewardship of natural and cultural heritage.

As a Park Ranger, you will contribute to biodiversity conservation, visitor management, ecological restoration and environmental monitoring while working both independently and as part of a team under Senior Ranger guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience in land management or conservation is preferred.
• Commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver conservation and land management activities within designated areas.
• Deliver biodiversity conservation and visitor management efforts.
• Assist with work plans and contract management under supervision.
• Support ecological restoration and environmental monitoring initiatives.
