Job summary

The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions in Perth's Woodman Point is seeking a Ranger to support operations at Woodman Point Regional Park and other regional parks, delivering conservation programs and visitor services.

You will help with park maintenance, facilities upkeep, safety, interpretation activities, and liaise with visitors, community groups and Indigenous stakeholders, in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with the public and diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a team and use initiative in a busy park environment.
• Experience with maintenance tasks and routine park grounds work.
• Familiarity with patrol and enforcement procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out programmed operational activities and field logistical support for Woodman Point and other parks.
• Maintain facilities, manage park visitor services, and deliver conservation programs.
• Support fire, feral animal, compliance and weed programs as directed.
