Zusammenfassung

Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) in Cape Le Grand National Park seeks a Ranger to support conservation programs and visitor services. You will carry out planned operations, assist with fire and pest control, and help manage park fees and promotional activities.

The role is permanent and full-time, based at Cape Le Grand National Park in Western Australia. Applicants should bring practical maintenance skills, teamwork, and strong stakeholder liaison abilities.

Qualifikationen

• Good interpersonal skills with public, tourism operators, community groups and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team, show initiative and work unsupervised.
• Experience in construction and maintenance, use of hand tools, power tools, chainsaws and small engines.

Aufgaben

• Carries out programmed operational activities and field/logistical support in Cape Le Grand NP and Esperance District, including facilities maintenance, visitor control and conservation programs.
• Assists with fire, feral animal, weed and interpretative programs.
• Collects park fees and participates in promotional activities.
• Implements works programs aligned with guidelines and management plans.
