Job summary

Queensland Health’s Sunshine Coast Health invites applications for an Administration Officer at Caloundra Health Service. The role provides a high level of confidential administrative support for outpatient services and serves as a primary point of contact for internal communication and external departments.

The Outpatient Services team oversees governance and management across the patient care continuum, with nursing and admin support to specialties.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Specialist Outpatients Implementation Standards Guidelines (SOSIS)
• Effectively communicate with clients and staff demonstrating understanding, empathy, patience and a positive attitude.
• Exercise judgement and discretion in undertaking various tasks whilst being responsible for the quality of work undertaken, by managing workloads appropriately; prioritising tasks and ensuring work is completed within designated timeframes.
• Provide high-quality confidential administration support to the team.
