Job summary

Boral Concrete is seeking an Allocator to join the North Ryde Concrete Contact Centre. You will coordinate dispatch, utilisation and timely delivery of our concrete trucks, and plan driver schedules in line with customer orders. This role suits a proactive problem solver with a customer service mindset.

Working hours are 6am-6pm Monday to Friday with a rotating Saturday 6-2pm; full training is provided. You will manage orders, liaise with production and drivers, and communicate deviations to

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling or dispatch in real-time preferred.
• Demonstrated customer service and solution focused mindset.
• Proficiency with navigating multiple systems.
• Well-developed problem solving and prioritization skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and work in a high-pressure environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage orders and ensure timely delivery
• Work with team members & Production to maximise service
• Ensure Drivers are kept up to date on job requirements and daily schedule
• Notify stakeholders of deviations to schedule or late delivery
• Comply with driver Fatigue management, statutory requirements and company health & safety
• A keen eye for detail
