Job summary

Hy-Tec is seeking a Batch Plant Operator for our Narangba team in Queensland. You will manage customer orders, batch concrete to spec, and allocate deliveries to optimise truck utilisation.

The role involves operating mobile and fixed plant, forklifts and front-end loaders while maintaining safety and quality standards. You will excel in this role with proven experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic workload.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role handling customer orders and batching
• Familiarity with batching software and computerised systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse customers
• Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Represent the Hy-Tec brand and provide excellent phone-based customer service
• Take orders and finalise the sale of pre-mixed concrete for delivery
• Batch concrete to specific mix designs via a computerised system
• Use software packages to schedule rostering and truck movements for the region
• Ensure Chain of Responsibility requirements are adhered to at all times
• Order raw materials
