Hy-Tec is seeking a Batch Plant Operator to join our Narangba team. You will batch concrete to customer specs, take orders and coordinate deliveries, ensuring smooth order-to-delivery flow and safety.

The role requires reliable work ethic, good communication, and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment. Training and competencies will be provided to the right candidate to set you up for success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Command/Jonel batching systems is desirable.
• Experience as a plant operator, FEL preferred.
• Ability to prioritise work in a changing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers.
• Comfortable using computers and software for batching and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Hy-Tec brand and provide excellent phone-based customer service.
• Take orders and finalise the sale of pre-mixed concrete for delivery.
• Batch concrete to specific mix designs via a computerised system.
• Use software packages to schedule rostering and truck movements for the region.
• Ensure Chain of Responsibility requirements are adhered to at all times.
• Order raw materials.
