Job summary

Auxus, part of Glad Group, is seeking a Concierge to deliver exceptional workplace experiences across multiple locations. You will welcome staff and visitors, manage access, and coordinate admin and facilities tasks to keep environments safe, clean, and efficient.

This role emphasizes customer service, quick communication, and proactive learning, with training provided for first aid and emergency procedures. A supportive team and clear escalation paths are offered.

Qualifications

  • Desirable qualifications or experience in hospitality/customer service
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure in a busy environment and to meet deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced levels of Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Time Management and attention to detail
  • Able to confidently administer first aid (training will be provided)

Responsibilities

  • Proactively welcoming all staff, visitors and contractors, and ensuring they have the correct access to enter the site.
  • Assisting with basic AV/IT troubleshooting and, when required, liaising with IT on behalf of the staff or visitor for more complex troubleshooting
  • Delivery of the access card and administration services in line with site-specific access card processes and guidelines
  • Ensuring you are fully informed on all SOPs and use them as a reference guide when unsure of a task.
  • Building awareness to ensure all areas of the workplace are kept clean and functional, and any areas of concern are raised accordingly.
  • Inductions of all new staff, contractors and visitors, ensuring they are well informed of the building and its features.

Job Description
About the role:

The Concierge role is the first point of contact and is responsible for delivering exceptional workplace experience and services to the customers and visitors. Following this, you are responsible for delivering an outstanding level of service to all customers via all communication channels.

A passion for customer service is essential to succeed in this role. The eagerness and willingness to learn and have the customer and their needs at the forefront of your mind is a necessity. This includes ensuring you are fully knowledgeable in all your roles and responsibilities, and where necessary, you are proactively seeking further training and assistance for any areas of improvement.

Role Objectives
  • Always ensure professionalism and a welcoming approach as a first point of contact for all visitors and staff
  • Ensure all requests are attended in a professional and timely manner
  • Understanding and knowledge of all allocated locations & the client's operations
Key Responsibilities

  • Floor walks throughout the day
  • Inductions of all new staff, contractors and visitors, ensuring they are well informed of the building and its features.
  • Mail management, including the storage of items and communication with necessary staff.
  • Managing meeting room bookings and cleanliness, and set-ups where appropriate.
  • Locker and key management, including adequate record keeping.
  • Monitor levels of stationery and kitchen supplies, restocking/ordering when required.
  • Pool vehicle administration and car park allocation, and documentation.
  • Security and WHS awareness, reporting any issues and concerns to the appropriate person/s.
  • Allocation of lockers and management of necessary registers, including EOT facilities.
  • To act as the Emergency warden (floor warden) in case of fire emergencies.

To be eligible for this role you will need to have full working rights in Australia (students welcome), a valid police check, and a first aid certificate is preferable.
