Job summary

Sydney Composites in Sydney, NSW is seeking an Experienced Composite Technician to join our on-site team. You will fabricate and repair advanced composite parts, reading drawings and ensuring QC on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in composite fabrication, experience with infusion, wet lay or prepregs, and a marine craft construction background. On offer: competitive pay, career progression, and EAP support.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on composite fabrication experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and perform QC.
• On-site NSW/Sydney-based with full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Reading engineering drawings and performing QC on the shop floor.
• Solving problems on the floor, not just following instructions.

• Sydney-based, on-site full time
• 4+ years hands-on composite fabrication
• Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship)

We're looking for a skilled composite tech who takes pride in their work and has a strong attention to detail.

This role is also well suited to boat builders and those with a marine craft construction trade qualification.

The work may include:

• Infusion, wet lay and/or prepreg laminating
• Fibreglass and carbon fibre repairs, demoulding, trimming
• Reading engineering drawings and holding your own on QC
• Solving problems on the floor, not just following instructions
