Zusammenfassung

CommBank's Risk Management team seeks a Manager Compliance to oversee the Compliance Management Framework within Group Support Units, ensuring activities align with regulatory and APRA standards. You will review obligations across industrial relations, taxation laws and codes, and advise Line 1 risk on key compliance matters.

You will design and improve GSU Compliance processes, monitor regulatory changes, train staff, report on non-financial risk, and build strong stakeholder relationships

Qualifikationen

• Compliance/Legal/Privacy knowledge within financial services.
• Sound knowledge of Compliance risk management frameworks, tools and techniques.
• Demonstrated self-starter with ability to adapt to changing requirements.
• Experience in compliance monitoring/assurance activities.
• Ability to influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Teamwork focus with excellence in driving results and delivering customer satisfaction.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to the design, implementation and ongoing improvement of GSU Compliance processes and procedures.
• Understand the regulatory environment and analyse the impact of proposed, new and amended laws, regulations and industry codes.
• Identify legal and regulatory compliance obligations for the support functions, and review the adequacy of controls and level of compliance.
• Evaluate, assess and advise on compliance issues and incidents, and work with compliance teams or other business areas on cross-BU matters.
• Support reporting on compliance exposures for the support units, including Non-Financial Risk Committees or other compliance reporting.
• Assist in planning, coordination and performance of compliance monitoring to agreed schedules.
• Contribute to ensuring the Compliance Risk Management Framework is implemented and operating effectively.
• Develop and provide compliance training to Line 1 risk on key processes and obligations.
• Advise Line 1 teams on a range of compliance matters.
• Build strong working relationships with Group functions, Line 1 risk and business stakeholders.
