Job summary

Hyundai Capital Australia (HCAU) is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our Legal & Compliance team during a period of growth. You will plan, develop and conduct 2nd line monitoring to support multiple departments.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in financial services compliance, strong knowledge of Australian Privacy laws, and experience with GRC systems. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, competitive base salary and a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a compliance role within financial services.
• Experience interpreting and applying Australian Privacy laws.
• Experience conducting 2nd line monitoring of regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist and timely advice to business stakeholders on regulatory obligations, focusing on Australian Privacy laws.
• Assess, investigate and elevate compliance incidents per regulatory expectations and timing.
• Conduct ongoing control design and operating assessments for Compliance-owned controls.
• Conduct 2nd line control design and operating assessments of business-owned controls.
• Prepare periodic compliance reports and regulatory submissions.
• Develop and deliver compliance training to business stakeholders.
