Randstad client in Wollongong, NSW seeks an experienced Assurance/Compliance professional to lead first-line operational assurance for asset finance and lending operations. You will manage asset controls, ensure data accuracy across systems, and drive process improvements.

The role focuses on asset insurance claims, GPS tracking, audit reviews, and location registers, with close collaboration to mitigate risks and support cross-functional teams.

Formación

• Experience in asset finance, lending operations, assurance, audit, or compliance within financial services.
• Strong data reconciliation and exception management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with loan management systems or asset registers.
• Ability to interpret complex documents and maintain accurate records.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor insurance claim notifications, prepare summary reports, maintain claim registers, and track recoveries to resolution.
• Review customer and asset audits to identify exceptions, assign follow-up actions, and produce the Audit Cycle Report.
• Conduct daily GPS tracking monitoring, manage missing or non-compliant units, and handle weekly allocations.
• Oversee insurance policy expiries, verify certificates of currency, and update loan management software.
• Assess requests for authorised location updates, reconcile data across three core systems, and prepare monthly location reports.
• Manage the internal query pipeline to coordinate workflow, maintain documentation, and escalate high-risk matters.

Your New Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Assurance or Compliance professional to step into a crucial position based in Wollongong, NSW. Operating within asset finance and lending operations, you will serve as the first line of operational assurance, managing key asset controls and ensuring high level data accuracy across systems.

You will be responsible for overseeing asset insurance claims, managing GPS tracking exceptions, conducting thorough audit reviews, and maintaining authorised location registers. Working alongside a supportive Assurance Manager, you will play a central role in identifying operational risks, resolving control discrepancies, and driving continuous process improvements.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor insurance claim notifications, prepare summary reports, maintain claim registers, and track recoveries through to resolution

About You

• Proven experience in asset finance, lending operations, assurance, audit, compliance, or financial services administration
• Strong capability in data reconciliation and exception management with meticulous attention to detail
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with loan management systems or asset registers
• Ability to interpret complex documentation, identify discrepancies, and maintain accurate records
• Excellent written communication skills with a track record of driving outstanding tasks through to completion
