Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, audit, risk, governance or quality assurance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Studying or holding a qualification in business, compliance or risk is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance and internal audit activities across the business.
• Conduct internal audits, and loan file reviews.
• Maintain compliance registers, records and action plans.
• Assist with updating policies, procedures and compliance documentation as needed.
• Coordinate monthly compliance monitoring activities and reporting.
• Prepare audit working papers, findings and recommendations.
• Support Compliance Committee meetings and governance activities.
• Coordinate compliance training and maintain training records.
• Assist with external audits and regulatory information requests.
• Monitor regulatory developments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Role

We're looking for a Compliance and Audit Officer to join our growing Risk & Compliance team on the Gold Coast. Reporting into the Compliance function, you'll play a hands-on role supporting internal audit, compliance monitoring and governance activities across the business — helping us maintain the high regulatory and ethical standards our clients and partners expect.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support the delivery of compliance and internal audit activities across the business.
• Conduct internal audits, and loan file reviews.

• High levels of integrity and accountability
• Experience in financial services or another regulated industry is an advantage, but not essential
• A qualification (or currently studying) in Business, Compliance, Risk or a related field is desirable
